Starting in 1927, Cats Protection has grown to become the UK's leading feline welfare charity. on average more than 215,000 cats and kittens every year are helped through their network of over 250 volunteer-run branches and 29 adoption centres.
The Charity's work doesn’t stop there. They also provide an array of cat care information through various publications, their website www.cats.org.uk and a helpline. All of which promote the benefits of neutering to prevent unwanted litters from being born. The campaign is to prevent these kittens being the abandoned cats of the future. The Cats Protection charity also seeks to educate people of all ages about cats and the care they need.
