Ear Disease in Dogs (Otitis Externa)

Paul Manktelow.  Ear disease, or Otitis Externa, is one of the most common problems seen in animals at a veterinary consultation.  Any breed of dog or cat can suffer from ear problems but dogs with large or hairy ears such as spaniels and poodles are particularly prone.  Ear problems are often recurrent and animals which suffer must have regular preventative ear care.
