www.battersea.org.uk offer the best information and stories about Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and all dog and cat related issues. Battersea has been around since 1860 and as you would expect from the oldest and busiest London dog and cat rescue centre, the Home is brimming with interesting stories.

The Home produces two magazines. Paws is sent to adult supporters of the Home and Fantail is for our junior supporters. Both magazines feature topical features, behavioural advice, stories about ex-residents, canine and feline, fundraising events and lots more.

We've been keeping tabs on the number of dogs and cats we care for every year since the Home opened in 1860 which is why we can say we've cared for over three million dogs and cats since we started nearly 150 years ago.
